About me
I’ve always had a knack for drawing. In elementary school, my doodles would begin confined to the margins, notes neatly in the lines. By the end of the page, notes would be a relic of the past with doodles flowing over the full width of the page like any good liquid would. It’s only fitting, then, that I found myself in a field where the years of doodling are actually a pretty valuable way to convey concepts quickly.
With nearly 10 years as a UX product designer, I've crafted experiences across industries like logistics, retail and finance. But as a designer, I wouldn't limit myself to any specific sector—design thinking is a universal philosophy. When we understand our users, the tasks they need to complete, the blockers they face, we can iteratively build solutions that improve their lives.

You know the drill…
About me.
I’ve always looked for a creative outlet. In elementary school, I would doodle in the margins of my notebook, notes neatly in the lines. But by the bottom of the page, any thought of note taking would be long gone with doodles flowing over the full width of the page like any good liquid. It’s only fitting, then, that I find myself in a field where the years of doodling are actually a pretty valuable way to convey new ideas quickly.

BEES
Nov 2021 to Present

I split my time at BEES between two teams: Deliver & US. On Deliver, I led the redesign for the Deliver Portal and mentored junior designers as they passed through the team. I also took over managerial responsibilities often due to frequent leadership turnover. On US, I explored future state concepts to showcase to stakeholders different directions on what was possible. I built enough of a reputation and good rapport with a few directors that my involvement was requested on many projects outside of my direct team.

Lowe's
Jan 2020 to Nov 2021

At Lowe's, I worked on several logistics applications: Routing Tool, Deliver app & Sourcing Insights. I worked with our research team to put together testing prototypes and iterated on designs as we garnered feedback. I worked closely with our engineers to ensure that solutions were technically possible and, once built, matched the handed off designs for consistency.

ACN
Dec 2018 to May 2019

At ACN, product managers and business leaders responded positively to a heavy documentation approach so I adjusted my deliverables accordingly, including clearly annotated concepts and wireframes. I took lead on the Flash Wireless retail experience for web and updated the experience for design consistency and brand adherence.

Bank of America
Mar 2017 to Aug 2018

Bank of America was a fast-paced environment. I worked on several flows within the online banking experience in very short turnaround times. I collaborated with PMs and line of business to manage expectations and adjust timeframes if complications arose. I worked primarily in Adobe Illustrator and Axure RP to create wireframes and prototypes.

Verian
Mar 2017 to Aug 2018

Verian was my first experience in an Agile environment. As the first designer at the company, I was tasked with introducing peers and stakeholders to UX as a philosophy. I developed a design library and ensured that components were built out correctly by our engineering team. Around this time, I realized that the focus on documentation was limiting my output. So instead, I implemented Lean UX, focusing on rapid testing based on quick sketches rather than depending on personas, flows and detailed handoff documents.

Tapity
Nov 2014 to Jun 2015

Tapity was a unique starting point for a career in UX. When I joined, the team was working on a 3D mobile game. I ended up learning basic principles of user experience while trying to design a 3D environment in Blender.
